This week’s show, guest curated by Michelle Yom, will feature Astrogenic Hallucinauting, DEAL & Eat Grapes. Each represents a different corner of the subterranean music secene in Houston and should make for a delightfully diverse night of music. Here is the flyer, made by Michael Curtin:
Resonant Interval has enjoyed the good fortune of several able documenters hanging around our shows for the past month. The ever-gracious Anna Matis of Anna Flora Photography usually pops over for a few quick, awesome shots that make the most of my Target-bought Kodak digital. This week she brought her personal gear, making the most of the inspired shots you see below. Sandy Ewen of Weird Weeds/Lance & The Pants/Sandy Ewen & Ms. YET fame also took a few with the trusty Kodak this week, giving some close-ups of The Paraffin in action.
We now have the added bonus of footage wrought from a camcorder wrangled by Mrs. Trills last Sunday. Below you will find links to the entire Wall With One Side vs. The Paraffin set, highlights of Trills’ performance, and the better part of the performers’ collaborative piece at the end of the night.

Trills vs. Wall With One Side:
The first set was meant to be a solo set from Wall With One Side, but wound up being a collaboration with local artist Michael Curtin, performing as The Paraffin, with visuals provided by Jonathan Jindra. Trills played after that, again soundtracking films made by Jindra himself. The evening concluded with a playful improvisation between Wall With One Side and Trills.
